Why oneINSPECTION ?

oneINSPECTION is BOBST’s answer to the critical need of the packaging industry to transition from isolated Quality Controls devices and human interventions to fully digitalized Quality Inspection solutions.

What is oneINSPECTION ?oneINSPECTION is an integrated set of BOBST Quality Control solutions enabling converters to proactively meet the needs and the requirements of brand owners and converters making Zero Fault Packaging a reality. This new quality control concept will as well provide significant value to packers, retailers and consumers part of the packaging value chain.

For Labels

ACCUCHECK offers two major functionalities in one single device: Inspection and Calibration

  • The inspection guarantees a perfect production quality from the first to the last label (without compromise on the quality whatever the width and the speed) and ensures that even the smallest defect can be seen, down to 0.15 mm2 at really low contrast.
  • The calibration automatizes all the machine setup and corrections, guaranteeing a perfect stitching of the cluster, excellent color uniformity and calibration, to avoid the occurrence of defect.

For Flexible Packaging

  • HAWKEYE – an optical density and pinhole detector monitoring system.​​​​​
  • Digital Inspection Table– a quality center that enhances the operator’s skills with augmented reality overlays while gathering photographic evidence for audit; ensuring trust and top production quality for flexible packaging production.

For Folding Carton

  • iQ 400 – a 100% inline quality control system for web-fed folding carton production.
  • ACCUCHECK – a 100% inline quality control system for folding carton checking each individual blank for quality, color, codes, text and register. 
  • The Digital Inspection Table for folding carton format 106, takes a leap towards our vision of zero fault packaging. As well as cutting costs, makeready time and waste, its accuracy helps to eliminate expensive, reputation-damaging recalls. 

For Corrugated board

  • iQ 300 – a 100% inline quality control system for corrugated production
  • PREMIUM GAP CONTROL – a system controlling the folding process of all finished boxes at full production speed.
